As we enter a new decade and a new season of boys’ high school lacrosse, it seems fitting to take a look back at the previous 10 years and the players who made it memorable.

Players from Cedar Crest (Pennsylvania), New Hartford (New York) and West Windsor-Plainsboro South (New Jersey) all scored at least 10 points in a game on Thursday. Also among today’s best known performers are several goalies, including Jon Pierce from Red Bank Regional (New Jersey) who added 20 saves to his career total.
Matt Fedorjaka from Lewisburg (Pa.) took down the all-time Pennsylvania scoring records with a seven-goal performance against Selinsgrove (Pa.) on Thursday. Also today, juniors from New Hanover (N.C.) and Chicopee (Mass.) go for double digits.
There is a race in Pennsylvania for which senior will end up the Keystone State’s all-time leading goal scorer. Lewisburg senior Matt Fedorjaka is closest, but Upper Dublin senior Michael Mullen is coming on strong with 52 goals this season. Also today, Ponte Vedra and Lake Highland square on in the Florida Final Four and a Rockhurst Jesuit freshman kicks off his high school career.
As part of a second round of updates to the Best Known Performers list today, Matt Fedorjaka from Lewisburg (Pa.) and Chase Poplin from Christ Church Episcopal (S.C.) both score in double digits. Also in the afternoon update, Cheyenne Mountain (Colo.), Granby (Mass.) and Eaglecrest (Colo.) earn spots.
