Believe it or not, last week was the final week in the regular season for both Florida and South Carolina. The rest of the South still has a few weeks to go before playoff time hits. Even though we are at the back end of the season, there are great games and performances all around.
Jimmy Burns from Ponte Vedra (Fla.) earns Player of the Week. Honorable Mentions include players from Tennessee, Georia, California and Florida.
Teams did not waste time getting their seasons cranked to 11, despite being in the first week of some of their seasons. Around the nation, there were plenty of meetings between inter-state and intra-state powers, including Florida and Georgia.
