Shepherd Hill (Mass.) senior, Devin Pietz, totaled 11 points, El Segundo (Calif.) junior Cory Lund helps his team to a conference championship and a Lawrenceville (N.J.) sophomore leads all known assists men from Saturday.
This week’s Stat Stars lists the Top 3 players and teams in each category from the past week. Want to catch up on who led the nation for the most points, goals, assists, saves? This is the place to do it. It was an exciting week as several players topped the 11-point and eight goals marks this week. Also, another long winning streak came to an end and teams on the West Coast put up big goal numbers.
El Segundo (Calif.) junior Cory Lund has been on fire the last week, totaling 32 points in three games and posting back-to-back 12-point games. Also part of today’s additions are Port Washington (N.Y.) attackman Seth Obadia and Northwood (Calif.) attackman Michael Bellas who earn spots on the Most Goals in a Game list.
Westlake (Calif.) led teams on Wednesday by scoring the most goals in a single game, while an El Segundo (Calif.) junior tops all known scorers for the most points in a single game. Also today, players from Maryland, New York and Washington enter the lists for most goals, assists, points and saves.
Several national records received updates last week after players and teams posted big games. The national list for most points in a single game received a big update as a new No. 2 was added. Plus, another team scores 30 goals in a game and Florida’s single season goals record could be reset this season.
Cave Spring (Va.) senior Chris Weston set a new season record and is now in second place all time for Most Points in a Game. Also in today’s update is El Segundo (Calif.) junior Cory Lund, new season saves leader Dean Orofino from New Dorp (N.Y.) and a pair of Washington players putting up big numbers.
