It is their job to stop the ball from getting past them and for the players on this list, they accomplished that feat more than any other players in boys lacrosse history.
But they admit they faced a lot more shots than most players in history as well.
The following is a list of boys' high school lacrosse athletes had the most saves in a single season with a minimum of 300.
