Liam McCarthy is a 6-foot-2, 220-pound goalie who has been playing travel lacrosse for Team Illinois, Team One, Str8 Lax and for Loyola Academy's youth program since he was in 3rd grade. McCarthy was MVP of Loyola Academy's freshman team and has played on Loyola's varsity team since that freshman season. He has attended Bill Pilat's Goalie School twice, has received a weekend of private goalie coaching by Brian Dougherty, attended Sal Locascio's goalie camp, attended two of Scotty Rodgers goalie camps, and has attended many years of goalie camps and clinics offered by Team One and True.
