High School Career

Michael Sowers became the first player in history to surpass 400 career assists in 2016. He passed both the 300 and 400 career assist mark during his senior season at Upper Dublin. His 179 points as a senior is one of the best seasons in recent history and ties him with Zed Williams for the Top 15 all-time at the time of his graduation. In fact, Sowers placed two seasons on the all-time points in a season list, once during his sophomore season and again as a senior.

Sowers was a star player since his freshman year. The future Princeton Tiger started his varsity career with 126 points. He earned First Team All-Suburban One League honors and followed that up with All-State and All-American honors as a sophomore. Sowers eventually earned a spot on the Team USA U-19 roster.
