High School Career

Matt Rambo finished his high school career as the all-time leader in Pennsylvania high school lacrosse history. The former La Salle College (Pa.) attackman finished with 385 points and 276 career goals. He was the No. 2 overall recruit, according to Inside Lacrosse for the 2013 class and was the 2013 PhillyLacrosse.com Player of the Year, the 2013 Catholic League MVP and 2013 All-EPLCA. Matt Rambo started his high school career at Abington (Pa.) in 2010 where he scored 78 goals and had 24 assists. After his freshman year, he transferred to La Salle where he added another 198 goals to his career total in three seasons. The future Maryland Terrapin led the Explorers to the 2013 PIAA championships, scoring four goals in the championship game against Conestoga (Pa.). He was the No. 2 overall recruit, according to Inside Lacrosse for the 2013 class and was the 2013 PhillyLacrosse.com Player of the Year, the 2013 Catholic League MVP and 2013 All-EPLCA. In what turned out to be a preview of his college career, Rambo set the Under Armour All-America record for most goals in a game with eight goals for the South team in a 28-24 win over the North. His eight goals are still the record for most goals and most points in the game. With his performance, Rambo was named the game’s MVP. At Maryland, he became the Terrapin's first-ever male recipient of the Tewaaraton Award on June 1, 2017.

Matt Fedorjaka from Lewisburg (Pa.) took down the all-time Pennsylvania scoring records with a seven-goal performance against Selinsgrove (Pa.) on Thursday. Also today, juniors from New Hanover (N.C.) and Chicopee (Mass.) go for double digits.

There is a race in Pennsylvania for which senior will end up the Keystone State's all-time leading goal scorer. Lewisburg senior Matt Fedorjaka is closest, but Upper Dublin senior Michael Mullen is coming on strong with 52 goals this season. Also today, Ponte Vedra and Lake Highland square on in the Florida Final Four and a Rockhurst Jesuit freshman kicks off his high school career.
