High School Career

Tygh became the nation’s all-time faceoff wins leader during his senior season - finishing with 1,297 career victories. Tygh won 70.80 percent of his faceoff opportunities in his career. Tygh started on the varsity program as an 8th grader but won 1,147 faceoffs from his freshman to senior season, which would have still been enough to supplant TD Ierlan as the nation’s all-time leader. Tygh also scored 37 goals and dished out six assists this season.
