High School Career

Grimes' high school career started off with 124 points in his first two seasons. An injury as a junior and COVID-19 as a senior cut his stats short, but he's a member of the US Lacrosse U19 Team and one of the Top 10 players in the Class of 2020. The Johns Hopkins commit scored 36 goals and 14 assists as a freshman and followed that up with 61 goals and 13 assists last season. Those numbers helped propel the Lakers to the MIAA A Conference championship game in 2018. For his effort, Grimes earned Second Team All-State.
