CHICAGO – Mike Loveday, President of LaxRecords, Inc. (NFP), and Laxnumbers, LLC, leaders in high school lacrosse rankings, are excited to announce a partnership to create the largest online resource for high school lacrosse information in the nation.
The partnership is effective today with merging data from LaxRecords.com to Laxnumbers.com to be completed by the end of 2021.
“Partnering with Laxnumbers is a natural fit. After meeting Ian Lodin more than a year ago and our continued conversations, it became apparent to me that we shared a common goal to serve the high school lacrosse community,” Loveday said. “I started LaxRecords.com from my living room seven years ago, but today I feel as though it’s finally going to live up to the vision I’ve always had. I am thrilled to partner with Laxnumbers to create the best high school lacrosse website in existence.”
Mike Loveday will have an ownership stake in Laxnumbers, LLC, overseeing the migration, display, and maintenance of all high school lacrosse statistics and records.
For the 2021 high school lacrosse season, LaxRecords.com and Laxnumbers.com will operate as separate entities with a shared mission. Expect to see cross-promotion and continuity between Laxnumbers.com and LaxRecords.com until the integration is complete.
The name LaxRecords will live on, in some form, at Laxnumbers, and all the content that fans have come to expect will have a new, and improved, home in 2022.
“The Laxnumbers team is thrilled to welcome Mike Loveday to the company,” said Ian Lodin, co-founder and President of Laxnumbers. “From the get-go, it was clear Mike shared the same burning passion and love for the game of lacrosse as the rest of the team. Mike has been a consistent presence in high school lacrosse circles since his days at ESPN. He is well known and highly respected by coaches and players alike. The partnership provides Laxnumbers the unique opportunity of gaining both a valuable and knowledgeable asset in Mike while also expanding Laxnumbers’ informational offering to the lacrosse community. It was a no-brainer for Laxnumbers. Between our partnership with Mike Loveday and our recent partnership with US Club Lax, Laxnumbers.com has positioned itself as the industry leader in high school lacrosse rankings and information. We could not be more excited about Laxnumbers’ future.”

With over 40 years of experience in the rankings industry combined, Laxnumbers’ mission is to create a centralized database of lax related information while providing high school and college rankings to the lacrosse community across North America.
