Drew Gisinger, a 2021 attackman from Toms River South (N.J.) has made a verbal commitment to play Division II lacrosse with Felician University.
The attackman scored nine points last season on seven goals and two assists. Gisinger has 32 career points through four seasons.
“I chose Felician University because it felt like home,” Gisinger said. “Only being a short drive up the parkway, I felt like being a part of Coach Bonacum’s program for the next four years just felt right.”
Gisinger has earned Offensive MVP and earned the title of Captain at Toms River South. He also earned an invitation to Battle of the States and attended the Shore Showdown.
Gisinger plays club lacrosse with NJLC. He was also considering Dominican College, Georgian Court and Western Connecticut State.
“One thing I can takeaway from this is to believe in yourself, and always work towards your goals,” Gisinger said of his top takeaway from his recruiting process. “Set short term goals that will help you reach your long term goals.”
“[I’d like to give] a special thank you to the New Jersey Lacrosse Club, Coach Higgins, and Coach Hirtes for helping me get to where I am today,” Gisinger added. “Also a special thank you to my family for encouraging me to always do my best.”
Gisinger is the first player reported to LaxRecords.com to have committed to Felician University.
