It has been 14 days since the last lacrosse commitment roundup and it’s been a busy two weeks. Forty-nine players are included in this week’s roundup, including 33 from the Class of 2021. Since the last update, LaxRecords added charts tracking each division’s number of commitments by state. The charts have been popular as I post them on Twitter, so the natural move to the web is a no-brainer.
As of today, there are 649 players, that are reported to LaxRecords, in the Class of 2021 committed to Division I programs. Ninety players are heading to Division III. Fifty-three have made Division II their future homes. So far, there are two players each reported to NAIA and MCLA programs. No matter which division a player chooses, it is part of their high school record and LaxRecords mission is to record high school history.
For the Class of 2022, there are 16 players added this week, which brings the total to 266 players already committed. New York, New Jersey and Maryland are among the Top 3 states, which puts the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions atop the list for most recruits.
A roundup of the latest college lacrosse commitment submissions that have been reported to LaxRecords.com can be found below. Want to share your commitment story with LaxRecords.com? Send us your commitment.
