Florida Institute of Technology picked up a verbal commitment from Battlefield 2021 defenseman John Radun.
The senior was an all-star at the 2019 Maverick D2 Showcase and he participated in the 2020 Inside Lacrosse Invitational. He is also a wrestler who was the 2020 conference champion at 195 pounds.
“Coach Penn has his program on the verge of taking the next step,” Radun said. “I researched and visited a number of programs but Florida Tech felt right from my first visit. I’m excited to give my all to the program.”
The 6-foot, 195-pound senior plays club lacrosse with Cavalier Lacrosse. He was also considering Lynn University, Marywood, and Lewis University.
“Each school I visited had great aspects to them. The best advice I can give to my friends is to pick a school and program where you feel comfortable,” Radun said of his top takeaway from his recruiting process. “Don’t focus on which division they play in.”
Radun is the first player reported to LaxRecords.com to have committed to the Florida Institute of Technology.
