Lees-McRae picked up a verbal commitment from Brother Martin (La.) 2021 LSM Chandler Bonvillian.
“The culture and opportunity were way too good to pass up,” Bonvillian said.
Bonvillian plays club lacrosse with FTK. He was also considering Alabama-Huntsville, Tusculum, and Palm Beach Atlantic.
Bonvillian earned LHSAA Academic All-State honors in 2019.
“Reaching out to coaches and being personable helped me greatly in the process,” Bonvillian said of his top takeaway from his recruiting process.
Bonvillian is the second player reported to LaxRecords.com to have committed to Lees-McRae.
