The Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association (DIAA) is holding its monthly meeting on Sept. 10 and will decide the fate of the fall sports season. The DIAA voted 15-0 last month to suspend the fall sports season until the late winter and spring. Under the current plan, the scholastic sports seasons would begin in December with each of the three — winter, fall and spring — then being played with condensed, six-week regular seasons. -- Source
In a crazy story, a former Walter Johnson (Md.) lacrosse coach is awaiting extradition from the United Kingdom almost two years after his arrest in connection with a botched attempted kidnapping and murder plot in Virginia. -- Source
Tom Haggerty has been tapped as the new head coach for Brother Rice (Ill.) lacrosse program. Haggerty replaces Chris Hilliard, who left the program this past spring after eight seasons. -- Source
