MacLachlan earned Under Armour Underclass honors last season. He also earned Orange Crush Showcase All-Star and Jamesville-DeWitt’s Unsung Hero honor. He plays club lacrosse with Orange Crush.
“I felt the coaching staff, facilities, and academic programs had everything I was looking for in a college,” MacLachlan said. “I was extremely impressed with the closeness of the team and overall culture the coaching staff has already built in a short period of time.”
He was also considering Hobart, Mount St. Mary’s and High Point.
MacLachlan shared his top takeaway from his recruiting process:
“With the new recruiting rules in place, it was obvious to me that I needed to find the right fit and not be swayed by a large number of early commits. I knew taking my time would pay off, and it did.”
