There is no way to pick just one player from the Blue Wave this week, so it’s a team win. The Blue Wave unit of junior Hudson Pokorny and seniors Brian Minicus and Logan McGovern totaled 18 goals and 11 assists in two games last week. The wins extended Darien’s nation-best winning streak to 57 games.
Pokorny, Minicus, and McGovern helped the Blue Wave to a 14–4 win over nationally-ranked Torrey Pines (Calif.) on April 6. Pokorny scored four goals and an assist. Minicus scored four and one and McGovern had four assists and two goals.
The trio combined for eight goals and five assists earlier in the week in a 22–0 win over Westhill (Conn.). Pokorny and Minicus each scored three goals. McGovern dished out five assists and scored two goals in the victory.

Andrew Cumming, So., Foothill-Santa Ana (Calif.)
Cumming scored six goals and had three assists as Foothill defeated Westlake (Calif.) 21–13. Cumming scored three goals and had one assist in a 20–10 win over San Clemente (Calif.). On the year, the sophomore has 68 points in 14 games.
J.D. Nozemack, Sr., Hereford (Md.)
Nozemack helped the Bulls end one of the longest winning streaks in the nation. The senior scored five goals, including the game-tying and game-winning goals as Hereford defeated Severna Park (Md.) 9–8 in double overtime.
Taylor Bohanan, St. Mary’s (Md.)
Bohanan scored three goals and an assist to help St. Mary’s defeat McDonogh (Md.) 9–5 last Tuesday.
Jake Bonomi, St. Anthony’s (N.Y.)
Bonomi scored three goals and two assists as the Friars defeated Haverford School (Pa.) 16–5 last week.

Conner scored four goals, including the game-winner, as Strath Haven defeated Downingtown East (Pa.) 7–6 in overtime. He scored seven points on four assists and three goals in a win over Marple Newtown (Pa.) earlier in the week.
Nik McFarland, Archbishop Spalding (Md.)
McFarland scored three goals to help the Cavaliers defeat Loyola-Blakefield (Md.) 8–7.
Tom Schelling, Sr., Delbarton (N.J.)
Schelling led the Green Wave with three goals in a 10–9 win over Malvern Prep (Pa.).
Will Schnorr, Jr., Conestoga (Pa.)
Schnorr scored four goals and dished out one assist in the Pioneers 13–7 win over Springfield-Delco (Pa.) on April 3. The junior scored three goals on April 5 in an 11–4 win over Harriton.
Pat Kavanagh, Chaminade (N.Y.)
Kavanagh scored two goals and one assist as the Flyers defeated Massapequa (N.Y.) on April 4.
