You Can Make a Difference

When I founded LaxRecords.com, I could have made it into a for-profit company, but I wanted to create something different – there’s plenty of recruiting coverage available. I’ve worked hard over the last four years to keep all content free and open to everyone. My promise to you is that I will never charge for access to the content on LaxRecords.com. I believe LaxRecords.com is something special. It is like a library or Wikipedia. A place to discover the history of lacrosse. To my knowledge, I am the only person doing this work in lacrosse. If everyone reading this donated, my fundraiser work would be done within an hour. But not everyone can or will donate. And that’s fine. This year, please consider making a donation of $5, $20, $50 or whatever you can to protect and sustain LaxRecords.com. Can’t afford that amount? How about $2 per month? I created a way to make a monthly, recurring donation. If you donate $2 per month, that’s $24 per year. Added up over many of you, that makes a huge difference and helps continue improvements.[/vc_column_text][vc_btn title=”Support LaxRecords Today” style=”3d” color=”primary” size=”lg” align=”center” i_icon_fontawesome=”fa fa-credit-card-alt” button_block=”true” add_icon=”true” link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fwww.paypal.com%2Fcgi-bin%2Fwebscr%3Fcmd%3D_s-xclick%26hosted_button_id%3DRJ5GPFL6PE38Q||target:%20_blank|” css=”.vc_custom_1520345659489{background-color: #00a1e0 !important;}”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] SaveSave[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]

2018 Best Known Performers

[accordions id=”16056″][/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]

What I Do

LaxRecords.com aims to compile the best-known records in high school lacrosse. Among the lists are the most career wins by a high school lacrosse coach. Also included are most career points, goals, assists and saves by a high school lacrosse player. Team performances for most state-sanctioned championships and consecutive wins are also tracked.

I run this site by myself has been a passion project of mine for years. In 2016, I started LaxRecords Inc. (NFP) as a 501c(3). If you think what I do is valuable, please consider making a tax-deductible donation. Any amount you can give is appreciated and helps the site immensely.

Some records are incomplete. I ask for help from the lacrosse community to fill the missing gaps. If there is a performance or player missing, please email me at mloveday@laxrecords.com or send me a Tweet at @LaxRecords.

According to US Lacrosse, lacrosse is the fastest-growing sport in the nation. Just under 300,000 players competed on varsity, junior varsity, freshman and club teams. According to the National Federation of State High School Associations, from 2009 to 2014, a total of 551 schools added boys’ programs, resulting in a growth rate of 27.8 percent for boys’ lacrosse. US Lacrosse produces a participation report annually since 2001, and over that time span the number of players has grown 204 percent, from 253,901 to 772,772. This survey counts only play on organized teams and does not count leisure-time play of the sport.
