Points

Michael Sowers
Curtis (N.Y.) senior Tyler Robertson totaled 14 points in a 21-9 win over Bronx Science (N.Y.) on Monday. Robertson scored 10 goals and had four assists in the victory.
I’ll just save this spot for Upper Dublin (Pa.) senior Michael Sowers from here on out this season. The Princeton commit tallied 12 more points with seven assists and five goals on Monday against Upper Merion (Pa.). Sowers, who plays club with the Duke’s and Mesa Fresh, now has 323 career assists. He is approaching 500 career points with 471. If he hits that mark, he would become just the 14th known player to reach that total.
Quinault Mackey’s 11 points powered Sumner (Wash.) to a 24 – 11 boys lacrosse win over White River (Wash.) on April 9. Mackey’s seven goals and four assists were a season’s best for the junior attackman as the Spartans rolled to a 13 – 6 lead at the half before putting up 11 more down the stretch.
Pope Francis (Mass.) junior Cam Peritz helped his team to a 20-6 win over Granby (Mass.) on Monday. Peritz totaled 11 points with seven goals and four assists in the win.
Ocean Township (N.J.) senior Joey Appio totaled 10 points on six assists and four goals against Middletown North (N.J.) on Monday. The senior now has 175 career assists.
Connor Downing scored five goals and collected five assists for Bishop Feehan (Mass.) in a 16-8 win over Sharon (Mass.) on Monday.
Goals
Ryan Daunt from Hightstown (N.J.) scored seven goals against Lawrence (N.J.) on Monday.
Michael Mullen from Upper Dublin benefits from quite a few of Sowers’ assists. Mullen scored seven in the 21-2 win over Upper Merion on Monday. Mullen now has 228 career goals and needs 48 more to tie Matt Rambo for the known Pennsylvania record.
Absegami (N.J.) junior Evan Sibson scored seven goals against Middle Township (N.J.) on Monday. Sibson added two assists to give him 29 total points this season.
Saves
Steve Gigliotti from Cinnaminson (N.J.) made 30 saves in an 8-3 loss to Northern Burlington (N.J.) on Monday. Gigliotti was coming off a game against New Egypt (N.J.) where he made 22 saves.
King Phillip (Mass.) junior Paul Macrina made 23 saves total, including seven in the fourth quarter, to help his team to a 10-9 win over Medway (Mass.) on Monday.

What I Do
LaxRecords.com aims to compile the best known records in high school lacrosse. Among the lists are the most career wins by a high school lacrosse coach. Also included are most career points, goals, assists and saves by a high school lacrosse player. Team performances for most state sanctioned championships and consecutive wins are also tracked.
Some records are known to be incomplete. I solicit help from the lacrosse community to fill the missing gaps. If there is a performance or player missing, please email me at mloveday@laxrecords.com or send me a Tweet at @LaxRecords.
According to US Lacrosse, lacrosse continues to be the fastest-growing sport in the nation. Just under 300,000 players competed on varsity, junior varsity, freshman and club teams. According to the National Federation of State High School Associations, from 2009 to 2014, a total of 551 schools added boys’ programs, resulting in a growth rate of 27.8 percent for boys’ lacrosse. US Lacrosse has produced a participation report annually since 2001, and over that time span the number of players has grown 204 percent, from 253,901 to 772,772. This survey counts only play on organized teams, and does not count leisure-time play of the sport.
