Keep tabs on all the best known high school boys’ lacrosse performances that are added each day with the daily Best Known Lacrosse Performances list. East day as players, teams and coaches earn a spot on the overall list, LaxRecords.com posts a daily item acknowledging the achievement.
Players are added based on number of goals, assist, points or saves they make in a single game. Coaches who surpass significant milestones will be recognized. Teams that continue or get added to our longest winning streak list or most goals scored list will also be added.

Individual Performances
Points
Sean Curcio totaled 12 points with seven assists and five goals for Manheim Township (Pa.) on Thursday. Curcio helped Manheim to a 19-1 win over Conestoga Valley (Pa.).
Keaton Komatz tallied 11 points for Heritage (Colo.) in a March 26 game against Oak Park (Colo.). The senior scored six goals and had five assists in the game. He has 25 points through four games this season.
Alex Scott delivered a season’s best 11 points as South Kitsap (Wash.) won 14 – 4 over Port Angeles (Wash.) on March 30. The senior attackman finished the night with six goals and fives assists along with nine ground balls besting last Tuesday’s nine-point showing in the Wolves win at Olympia. He now has 21 points (13 goals, 8 assists) on the season.
Matt Chlastawa from Westfield (Mass.) totaled 10 points with seven goals and three assists in a 14-4 win over West Springfield (Mass.). The senior has 233 career points (120 goals, 113 assists).
Jac Gemmill from Red Lion (Pa.) amassed 10 points on the strength of five goals and five assists in an 18-1 win over Kennard-Dale (Pa.).
Goals
Carlos Clavijo totaled 11 points with nine goals for St. Brendan (Fla.) in a win over Lely (Fla.). Clavijo is believed to be approaching the Florida state record for the most goals in a season. His unverified total is 105 goals.
Ian Gray from Seneca (N.J.) scored seven goals against Woodstown (N.J.) on March 31.
Saves
Marcellus (N.Y.) junior Dan Cusick made 22 saves against Baldwinsville (N.Y.) on March 31.
Pope Francis (Mass.) goalie Kyle Wolanski made 21 saves in a 19-5 loss to Minnechaug (Mass.).

What I Do
LaxRecords.com aims to compile the best known records in high school lacrosse. Among the lists are the most career wins by a high school lacrosse coach. Also included are most career points, goals, assists and saves by a high school lacrosse player. Team performances for most state sanctioned championships and consecutive wins are also tracked.

According to US Lacrosse, lacrosse continues to be the fastest-growing sport in the nation. Just under 300,000 players competed on varsity, junior varsity, freshman and club teams. According to the National Federation of State High School Associations, from 2009 to 2014, a total of 551 schools added boys’ programs, resulting in a growth rate of 27.8 percent for boys’ lacrosse. US Lacrosse has produced a participation report annually since 2001, and over that time span the number of players has grown 204 percent, from 253,901 to 772,772. This survey counts only play on organized teams, and does not count leisure-time play of the sport.
