Most Goals
Michael Mullen from Upper Dublin (Ft. Washington, Pa.) scored nine goals in a win over Springfield-Montco (Pa.) on Tuesday. Mullen also had one assist to give him 10 total points.
Connor Fields from Bishop Timon-St. Jude (Buffalo, N.Y.) scored seven goals in an 18-7 win over Nichols (N.Y.).
Most Assists
Michael Sowers from Upper Dublin (Ft. Washington, Pa.) takes over the No. 1 spot this season with a 13 assist game against Springfield-Montco (Pa.). Sowers also had three goals to give him 16 total points, which ties him for No. 1 in that category.
Iroquois Central (Elma, N.Y.) senior Derek Andrews had 10 assists in an 18-3 win over Lake Shore (N.Y.). The attackman also had three points to give him 13 points in the game. According to the Buffalo News, the 10 assists is a Section VI record and ties him with four other players. The New York state record is 14 by Garden City’s Bruce Corbridge in 1963.
Most Points
Ryan Keenan from Smithtown West (Smithtown, N.Y.) totaled 10 points on six assists and four goals in a 12-5 win over Patchogue-Medford (N.Y.). This is the second time this season the No. 9 player in the StudentSports.com Top 50 has tallied 10 points in a game.
Chase Young from St. Joseph’s Prep (Philadelphia, Pa.) tallied 11 points on seven assists and four goals in a 13-9 win over Archbishop Ryan (Pa.).
Most Saves
Lower Cape May (N.J.) goalie James Cella recorded 21 saves in a 9-2 loss to Oakcrest (N.J.).
Hauppauge (Hauppauge, N.Y.) goalie Alex Donnarumma made 20 saves in a 10-8 loss to No. 28 Ward Melville (East Setauket, N.Y.).
TEAM
Cazenovia (Cazenovia, N.Y.) entered the Longest Active Win Streak category this week with 17-straight wins. the Lakers’ streak started on May 7, 2013 with a 10-1 win over Skaneateles (N.Y.).
