Why Would You Want To Donate?
I love working on the site. I love driving to games and taking photos when my work schedule allows. I started it in 2014 as a passion project, knowing it needed the support of the lacrosse community if it was going to work.
In 2014, I told myself I’d reevaluate in a year and see if people are interested in player stats and performances as I am.
In that year, I received tremendous support and the site has grown. In fact, in the three years since, it’s grown so well, that I turned the site into a 501c(3) and created plans for version 2.0 of the site.
What Would I Do With The Money?
I envision LaxRecords.com as THE place for the history of boys’ high school lacrosse. I want you to find state and national records in addition to historical data on players and teams.
Investing in development of a database where player and team data is housed and searchable is the top priority. Expanding the site with stories and videos on how players can improve, both on the field and off in part of the plan.
The long-term vision to create a scholarship for lacrosse players is also a priority. My dad instilled in me the value education and the doors it can open. He never pushed, but was supportive of my route through community college, then Mount St. Mary’s and finally my current path through graduate school.
Achieving my vision requires resources.
For the past three years, I self-funded to buy what I needed to augment the site, but after converting to a 501c(3), that’s not an option. I continue to work on other sources of income to offer support, but I could use your help.
I’m Asking For Help
If everyone who visits this site donates $5, it would give the starting capital to carry out some of the development to improve the site.
Your donations are tax-deductible and you will receive a receipt after your donation.
So, if you enjoy the content on the site and want to see if continue, please consider making a donation.
Your support is truly appreciated.
As of this moment, the only way I can accept donations is via PayPal.
If you’re interested in knowing more of the history of LaxRecords.com, you can read about it, and me, on the About page.
